Where can I view your products
in person?

We partake in various events
throughout the year, see the Events Page on our website https://haslamwest.com/pages/events-2026

Alternatively we can often be
found out and about visiting Interior Designers in their studios, please do let
us know if you’d like a visit. For other customers, please get in touch as we
may be in your area or you’d be welcome to visit us in London.

Can you make bespoke
lampshades?

Yes we can make bespoke lampshades
in either pleated (gathered, knife or box pleat) or in card. We can also
laminate fabric or paper onto card. We stock frames for our standard sizes and
make frames to order for special sizes. Please get in touch to discuss info@haslamwest.com

What are the leadtimes for
bespoke lampshades?

Made to order pleated lampshades
in customers own material in our standard sizes take approximately 2-3 weeks.
Our hard lampshades take approximately 4-6 weeks.

Lampshades in special sizes take
approximately 6 weeks to make to order.

Can you offer advice on
lampshades?

Yes we can help with sizing,
shape, style and fabric. Please do get in touch as we’d be delighted to help

Are your lampshades compatible
for UK standard lamp fittings?

Yes all our lampshades have
fittings to suit UK standard lamp fittings. We can also make to fit European or
American fittings.

How quickly will my order
arrive?

When we receive your order and
full payment, your order should arrive within 2-3 days. If we need to wire the
lamps or make the lampshades to order we will be in touch with an estimated
leadtime. If you’d like us to hold onto your order until your project is ready,
just let us know at the time of order.

Can I have a longer length of
flex on my lamps?

We hold stock of ready wired lamps
but can also wire to order with bespoke lengths of flex, for which there is a
small charge for the wiring (£50) and per extra metre of flex (£7.50 per metre).

Do you offer a rewiring service
for my antique lamps?

Yes we can rewire your lights. Items
are quoted on a case-by-case basis and take approximately 6 weeks.

Do you offer a consultancy
service for decorative lighting for a project?

Yes we are able to help advise on
your decorative lighting requirements. We charge £75 per hour plus travel
expenses. If you choose to buy our products the consultancy hourly charge is refundable
against your order.

Can you source specific vintage
lighting?

Yes we offer a sourcing service. Please
get in touch to discuss.

What is your return policy?

We hope you will be happy with
your order but should you wish to return any product, please notify us within 7
days of receipt by email. Your order will need to be returned to us within 14
days in its original packaging and sent via a reputable carrier with full
tracking. Anything received back with us damaged will not be refundable.

What are your sustainability
credentials?

We strive to make as much as we
can here in the UK to reduce our carbon footprint. Currently this is
approximately 60% of all our of products, including componentry. We also aim to
make as many of our products as possible by hand, currently this sits at approximately
90% of our range. We also strive to restore and rewire lighting by offering our
Vintage range, which we pack in recycled packaging and boxes.
